September Golf Classic 2016 - Bush Hill Park Golf Club
Despite torrential rain and a thunderstorm the September Golf Classic on Friday 16th September managed to go ahead. This was in no small part due to the co-operation and enormous efforts of Nazeing Golf Club.
A determined field of 51 competitors took part in a titanic struggle, mostly against the difficult playing conditions.
The eventual winners were Rob Woodcock of Longwater Construction Supplies for the guests, whilst the member's trophy was carried off by Gary Strahan.
There was some consolation for Martin Whiteside who was beaten into second place for the member's trophy, as his Southern Doors four carried off the team prize.

Once again there was a healthy sum of money raised for the chosen charities, with £1,500 being added to the funds.
