Right now, there are an estimated 900,000 people living with dementia in the UK, and this number is expected to rise to 1.6 million by 2040. The cost of care is staggering—currently at £34.7 billion per year, with two-thirds of this burden falling on families and individuals affected by dementia. By 2040, this figure is projected to reach £94.1 billion per year.

One of the many ways we support people living with dementia is through Talking Point, our online safe space. Here, individuals can share their experiences, frustrations, and knowledge, finding comfort and strength in a community that understands. Just £50 enables 312 people to access this vital resource, day or night, when they need it most.
